The Region 8 PEHSU (Rocky Mountain), founded in 1999, is based out of Denver at Children’s Mercy Hospital, and serves Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming. It is one of ten units that make up a national network of PEHSUs.

Asthma & Children’s Health

 

Asthma is a lung disease that can make it hard to breathe. Asthma cannot be cured. You have asthma even when you feel fine and your asthma can get worse at any time. We also know that asthma problems can be controlled with help from your doctor.

We also share information and resources to school and community groups to help increase the understanding of environmental pediatrics.
