Environmental Exposures During the Prenatal and Perinatal Period and Pediatric Cancer Risk

Dr. Joseph Wiemels discusses how environmental factors such as diet, chemicals and elective c-sections relate to increased risk of childhood cancers such as leukemia. Dr. Wiemels is a professor in the Center for Genetic Epidemiology at USC studying the molecular epidemiology of childhood cancers, particularly childhood leukemia and brain cancer.
