Ariel Eastburn McCormick, MA

Ariel Eastburn McCormick, MA is the Program Coordinator for WSPEHSU. She also serves as a Project Coordinator with the UCSF Program on Reproductive Health and the Environment (PRHE) and UCSF Environmental Research and Translation for Health (EaRTH) Center. Ariel received her M.A. in Applied Anthropology from Humboldt State where she conducted a qualitative study of perinatal health care access in Santa Clara County. Ariel is a longtime advocate of Reproductive Justice through her past work with menstrual equity organizations, as a full-spectrum doula-in-training, and as a 2023 UCSF Bixby Advocacy and Communications Fellow through which she co-authored a cost-benefit analysis of doula care services for Medicaid enrollees. In her free time, you can find Ariel cooking, hiking, and gardening.
